About Sanne Stoutenbeek

Light is her passion! Once you begin to understand light, it is one of the most interesting elements to work with regardless of the scale of the project. Whether it concerns the design of a lamp or illuminating facade. It is the poetry of light in combination with technology that makes it interesting and challenging at the same time.

With many years of experience, Stoutenbeek is able to translate the wishes of project developers, architects and interior designers and individual customers into a realistic plan or product.

Stoutenbeek studied Interior Design at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague and obtained her master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. From 2005 she worked as an independent designer at various renowned design agencies including Concepto and Seulsoleil in Paris, Brink Light Asia in Singapore and Van Dijk & Partners in Amsterdam.

As a lighting designer, Sanne Stoutenbeek contributed to the lighting of Notre Dame, Disneyland Paris, Ile Seguin in Paris, and collaborated with Jean Noevel architects and Valode et Pistre, among others.
